Why is your practice named Inner Me Therapy?

I named my practice Inner Me Therapy to emphasize the ideas of self-reflection, self-awareness, and personal growth. The name came to me because I have a passion for empowering my clients from within. I believe everyone has the power to grow and become the best version of themselves.

Why the olive trees?

Olive trees are  known for their resilience in harsh environments, representing endurance and strength. They withstand droughts, poor soil, and extreme weather while still bearing fruit. Similarly, I believe that individuals can discover strength, healing, and personal growth amidst life's challenges, much like how an olive tree flourishes from its deep roots.

What happens after the consultation call?

If you think I would be a good fit for you or your child/teen, we can schedule the first session at a time that works best for both of us. I will email you intake forms for you to sign at your convenience that must be completed before our first session.

What can I expect during a therapy session?

Therapy can feel intimidating for some, so I will prioritize our sessions to feel most comfortable. Each session is 60 minutes long unless stated otherwise. In our initial session, we will discuss confidentiality and establish treatment goals together.

What if me or my child have never been to therapy?

Thank you for making the courageous decision to be here. Therapy can take place at any moment, and you don't need any previous experience to begin.

Why don't you take insurance?

I believe it's essential for my clients to have control over their own care, which is why I do not accept insurance in my practice. However, I can provide a "superbill," a detailed invoice that outlines the services rendered. Please check with your insurance provider first.
